Canagan Raw Freeze Dried Fish Topper is a 50g bag of freeze dried fish pieces with vegetables, made to sprinkle over dinner. It is a complementary food, not a complete one.
It is not pure fish. White fish is 60 percent and salmon 20 percent, with sweet potato at 10 percent, pumpkin at 5 percent and a little cranberry. The white fish is MSC certified. There is no chicken anywhere in the list, so this is the one for a dog that does not do well on chicken. It analyses at 49 percent protein and 22 percent fat with only 3 percent moisture.
A wet topper in broth is mostly water. This adds the smell and the flavour without the water.
The glucosamine and chondroitin are 750mg per kg each, so a 5g sprinkle carries under 4mg. Not a joint supplement.
