A family shop in Enniscorthy and Wicklow, behind the counter since 2009. This is the same shop with a longer reach.
People drove forty minutes for this.
Before there was a website, people came from forty minutes away to buy a bag of food off us. Not because we were cheap. Because of what we kept on the shelf, and because whoever was behind the counter knew the difference between a working dog's food and a senior Labrador's.
That is the only thing we have tried to put online. Same shelf, same prices, same person on the other end of the phone.
What a local shop gives you.
Four things that come as standard when the people selling you the food are the people feeding their own dogs on it.
We pick the brands we stock ourselves and we try them before they go on the site. Nothing is listed that we would not stand over at the counter.
No online-only discounts, and no premium for walking in the door. Whatever it says on the shelf in Wicklow is what it says here.
If you have ever rung the shop and heard that, this is why. Jackie knows the range inside out and can usually work out what you need in a minute.
Order before 2pm, Monday to Friday, and it goes out the same day for next-day delivery anywhere in Ireland.
What we won't do.
We will not frighten you into buying something. We will not tell you a food is better than it is. We will not push a food we think is poor just because the supplier has it on deal.
What we will do.
We will tell you when a brand changes a recipe and the new one is not as good. If something is out of stock we will give you a real date, not one that slips.
We will take the food back if the dog will not eat it, then ask what the dog will eat so the next bag works. We stock food that sits below what we feed our own dogs, because not everyone has the same budget and a dog fed well on the cheaper bag is still a dog fed well. That means we can be straight with you instead of walking you to the dearest thing on the shelf.

Wicklow opened in 2009 and Enniscorthy followed in 2017. Susie runs Wicklow and knows the regulars by name and their dogs by breed. The website ships out of Enniscorthy. The team that answers the phone is the same team that scans your shopping at the till.
