Applaws Chicken Breast with Salmon and Vegetables in Broth is a 156g complementary wet topper for adult dogs, made to be spooned over a complete dry food.
Chicken breast is the biggest ingredient at 28 percent and salmon comes in at 18 percent, so this is a chicken tin with salmon through it, not a fish food. Pumpkin, carrots and peas are 8 percent each with rice at the end of the list. It analyses at 10 percent protein and 1 percent fat with 82 percent moisture, so most of what you pour is broth, which is the point for a dog that drinks too little or picks at kibble.
Most tins on the shelf are complete foods built to be the whole dinner. A topper adds flavour and water to a complete food, it does not replace it.
