The PlaqueBusters Meaty Ham Bone in Regular size is a ham bone chew for dogs who want something big to work on. Ham bones are one of the chews we get asked about most in the shop and dogs go mad for the smell.
We give the same honest advice with every bone we sell. Supervise your dog the whole time they have it. Take it away once it gets small enough to swallow, if it starts to splinter or crack or if your dog is breaking off sharp pieces. Dogs who are new to bones or have a sensitive stomach should only have it for short spells at first. Do not leave it with a dog alone in the house or garden.
Give it on a surface that is easy to clean, keep fresh water down and throw it out once it is worn down or has been left lying around. Count it as part of the day's food for dogs watching their weight.
