Johnsons Vet Vitamin and Mineral Drops are added to a cage bird's drinking water, giving a straightforward way to support their vitamin and mineral intake alongside a seed based diet, useful since a seed only diet is not considered fully balanced by most avian vets.
This supplement works best alongside fresh vegetables, some fruit and a good quality diet, not as the sole way to balance nutrition. Follow the dosing guidance on the packaging and change the water regularly, since a supplemented water bowl can encourage bacterial growth faster than plain water. Free delivery on all orders over 49 euro. Orders under 49 euro have a delivery charge of 6.95 euro. We deliver anywhere in the Republic of Ireland.
A seed only diet genuinely falls short on several vitamins and minerals a cage bird needs. This gives a simple way to fill that gap through the water bowl already in use, alongside fresh food.
Most avian vets consider seed alone nutritionally incomplete, vitamin and mineral drops help fill that gap.
Add the recommended amount to the bird's drinking water following the dosing guidance.
