Johnsons Vet Budgie Sand Perch Covers slip onto an existing perch, giving a slightly abrasive surface that helps naturally wear down a budgie's claws and beak through normal perching and movement. This pack of 4 gives enough covers to fit multiple perches or replace them as they wear.
Use sand perch covers on only one or two perches within a cage rather than every perch, so a budgie still has smooth, comfortable perches to rest on too, using an abrasive surface exclusively can cause foot irritation over time. Free delivery on all orders over 49 euro. Orders under 49 euro have a delivery charge of 6.95 euro. We deliver anywhere in the Republic of Ireland.
Overgrown claws and beaks are a genuine, common issue for cage birds that do not get natural wear. This cover gives that wear passively through everyday perching, rather than needing regular manual trimming.
