The Ancol Whippet Coat in Black is built specifically for the shape of a whippet or similar thin coated, deep chested breed, rather than a general coat cut down to fit. It extends up the length of the neck and over the top of the tail, trapping body heat across areas that lose warmth quickly on a breed with very little natural coat. The faux lamb fleece lining adds real warmth on cold mornings and wintry days, and the coat fastens with adjustable hook and loop straps around the belly for a snug fit that still allows free movement.
This coat is 100% polyester and should be hand washed or gently machine washed in cool water rather than a hot wash, to protect the fleece lining and shape. Check the fit around the belly straps regularly, adjusting as needed so the coat stays snug without restricting movement. Free delivery on all orders over 49 euro. Orders under 49 euro have a delivery charge of 6.95 euro. We deliver anywhere in the Republic of Ireland.
A whippet or similar thin coated breed genuinely struggles with cold in a way a standard breed does not, and a generic dog coat rarely fits their deep chested, narrow shape properly. This coat is cut specifically for that body shape, covering the neck and tail base where warmth is lost fastest.
Their thin coat and deep chested, narrow body shape loses heat quickly, and a generic coat often does not fit or cover them properly.
Hand wash or gentle cool machine wash, avoid a hot wash to protect the fleece lining.
Adjustable hook and loop straps around the belly for a snug, secure fit.
Orders over 49 euro qualify for free delivery anywhere in the Republic of Ireland. Orders under 49 euro have a flat delivery charge of 6.95 euro.
