Royal Canin Lightweight Care Medium 12kg is a complete dry dog food formulated for adult medium breed dogs, matching nutrition to the specific needs of that size and life stage rather than a one size fits all recipe. This recipe is formulated to help manage a healthy weight. This 12kg bag suits everyday feeding.
Follow the feeding guide on the packaging based on the dog's actual weight and activity level. Transition gradually from any previous food over about a week to avoid stomach upset. Free delivery on all orders over 49 euro. Orders under 49 euro have a delivery charge of 6.95 euro. We deliver anywhere in the Republic of Ireland.
A medium breed dog has genuinely different nutritional needs at different life stages, not just a smaller or bigger portion of the same food. This recipe is formulated specifically around that.
Most Royal Canin recipes include grain. Grain inclusion is intentional — Royal Canin regards rice as a beneficial carb, not a filler.
Different breeds have different jaw structures, digestive needs and joint stresses. The breed formulas tune kibble shape, protein source and supplement profile to the breed.
Yes — there are puppy formulas for mini, medium and maxi breeds, plus breed-specific puppy formulas.
The Veterinary Diet range is for diagnosed clinical conditions and is typically recommended by a vet (kidney support, urinary, hepatic, etc.). We stock the everyday Royal Canin range for healthy dogs and cats.
Order before 2pm Monday to Friday and we dispatch the same day by DPD, next working day to most of Ireland.
Delivery is free over €49, a flat €6.95 under that.
