The Mikki Undercoat Rake Thick Coats has long stainless steel teeth that reach the lower layers of a thick coat, easing knots and tangles while displacing dead hair and undercoat, leaving the top coat undisturbed. Suited to thick, double coated breeds. The ergonomically designed handle gives comfort and control for longer grooming sessions.
Run the rake through the coat applying no more pressure than brushing your own hair, working in sections across the body. Undercoat rakes suit dogs with a double or thick coat, this is not the right tool for a single, fine coated breed. Stop if the dog becomes agitated. Free delivery on all orders over 49 euro. Orders under 49 euro have a delivery charge of 6.95 euro. We deliver anywhere in the Republic of Ireland.
Dogs cannot thin their own undercoat, they genuinely need help from a proper tool. This rake reaches the lower layers of a thick coat to displace dead hair without cutting or damaging the healthy top coat.
Double or thick coated breeds, it is not the right tool for a single, fine coat.
No more than you would use brushing your own hair, working gently in sections.
