The Halti Front Control Harness Large uses a front chest clip rather than a back mounted D-ring, so when a dog pulls forward the harness gently turns them back towards the owner rather than letting them lean fully into the pull the way a back clip harness can. This size suits a larger breed, giving genuine, force free assistance for a dog still learning loose lead walking.
Measure the dog's girth, around the widest part of the chest behind the front legs, before choosing this size. Introduce any new harness gradually, letting the dog get comfortable wearing it before relying on it for a full walk. Free delivery on all orders over 49 euro. Orders under 49 euro have a delivery charge of 6.95 euro. We deliver anywhere in the Republic of Ireland.
A back clip harness can actually make pulling easier, since a dog can lean fully into it. This front clip design gently redirects a pulling dog back towards the owner instead, giving genuine, non painful assistance with loose lead training.
When a dog pulls forward, the front clip gently turns them back towards the owner rather than letting them lean into the pull.
