The Flexi New Classic Lead 5m Size Medium is a retractable tape lead in standard, extending to 5m and locking at any point along the way with an integrated braking system. Medium suits a mid sized breed, check the maximum weight rating before buying. Made in Germany, it gives a dog room to explore and sniff at a distance while an owner stays in control, adjustable and lockable for whatever the situation calls for.
Never wrap the lead or cord around a hand or leg, and always lock it short around traffic, other dogs, or in a busy area rather than leaving it freely extended. Retractable leads suit a dog that already responds well to voice cues and leash pressure, a dog still learning loose lead walking or one that is reactive often does better with a standard length lead and some training work first. Check the lead periodically for wear along its full extended length. Free delivery on all orders over 49 euro. Orders under 49 euro have a delivery charge of 6.95 euro. We deliver anywhere in the Republic of Ireland.
A dog on a short lead has no room to properly sniff and explore, which matters for mental stimulation on a walk. This retractable lead gives that freedom while keeping a locking brake on hand for the moments that call for close control.

Tape is generally considered safer, being wider and less likely to cause rope burn or cuts than a cord if it wraps around a limb.
A dog that already responds well to voice cues and leash pressure, a reactive dog or one still learning loose lead walking often does better with a standard lead.
Orders over 49 euro qualify for free delivery anywhere in the Republic of Ireland. Orders under 49 euro have a flat delivery charge of 6.95 euro.
