The Dog Cottage Small 61 Cm is a black wire crate, 61cm, suited to a small breed, giving a dog a secure, enclosed den space at home, whether for house training a puppy, giving an anxious dog a safe retreat, or simply somewhere calm to settle away from a busy household. Wire construction gives good visibility and airflow compared to a solid sided crate, while still feeling enclosed enough to work as a proper den.
Introduce a crate gradually and always as a positive space, never as punishment, using treats, meals and familiar bedding to build a genuinely positive association before expecting a dog to settle in it for any length of time. A crate should never be used to confine a dog for excessively long periods, and a puppy in particular needs regular breaks to toilet, stretch and interact. Free delivery on all orders over 49 euro. Orders under 49 euro have a delivery charge of 6.95 euro. We deliver anywhere in the Republic of Ireland.
A dog genuinely benefits from having their own defined space, somewhere to retreat to that is theirs alone. This crate gives that den space with the visibility and airflow of wire construction, done right with positive introduction rather than forced confinement.
Gradually and positively, using treats, meals and familiar bedding, never as punishment.
