Beaphar Lactol Puppy Milk is a complete milk replacer made from easily digested whey proteins, formulated to closely resemble a mother's natural milk for newborn, underweight or orphaned puppies. It has been used to hand rear puppies for over a century, and is also suitable for supporting pregnant or lactating dogs, weaning puppies, or sick and convalescing animals. It is enriched with vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, B12, C, D3 and K, along with DHA to support brain and vision development.
Mix with warm, not boiling, water and stir until completely dissolved, then allow to cool to blood temperature around 38 degrees Celsius before feeding. Proper feeding equipment such as a Beaphar feeding set or feeding syringes should always be clean and sterile. Weigh puppies daily during hand rearing to track growth, and speak to a vet if a puppy is not gaining weight as expected or seems unwell. Free delivery on all orders over 49 euro. Follow the storage guidance on the tin, which is the only figure we'll stand over. Keep it sealed, dry and cool, and make up feeds fresh each time rather than storing mixed milk.
