Fresh meat. Gently prepared. Fresh meat dog food, carefully prepared for easier digestion and everyday health.
Tribal Fresh Pressed Adult Turkey is a grain free cold pressed dry dog food for adult dogs, in a 2.5kg bag. It runs 23% protein and 10% fat, with fresh turkey at 35% and sweet potato at 35%.
Cold pressed means the ingredients are pressed together at a low temperature rather than extruded under high heat and pressure the way most kibble is made. Less heat means less damage to the nutrients that were in the meat to start with. It also means the kibble does not swell in the stomach when it gets wet, which is the practical difference most owners notice first.
Sweet potato as the whole carbohydrate is worth noting, it releases its energy more slowly than maize or rice. Glucosamine is in at 980mg per kg with green lipped mussel and chondroitin behind it.
