GAIN Elite Big Dogs Adult is a complete dry food for adult large breed dogs, made in Ireland, in a 12kg bag. It runs 23% protein and 11% oils and fats, with dried chicken and turkey named first at a declared minimum of 24%.
The fat is deliberately lower than the small breed version, 11% against 14%, because a large frame carrying extra weight puts the load straight onto the joints. Working the same problem from the other side, this recipe adds glucosamine hydrochloride at 300mg per kg and MSM at 300mg per kg, which the small breed recipe does not carry. Rice and wholegrain maize follow the meat. It is GAIN Elite and it performs and feeds well.
