The Flamingo Leza lead in pink is a artificial leather dog lead measuring 130cm L x 1.5cm W x 0.4cm H.
Artificial leather with a neoprene padded handle. The handle is the reason to buy it. A flat leather or nylon handle cuts into your fingers the moment a dog lunges, and neoprene spreads that across the whole hand. If you walk a dog that still pulls, this is worth more to you than anything else on the lead.
A word on length. A short lead keeps a dog close in traffic and a longer one lets it sniff, and sniffing is how a dog actually reads a walk. If your route is half road and half field, carry two, or use a lead you can clip back on itself to shorten.
Check the clip and the stitching next to it every few weeks. That is where every lead gives out first, and it always goes at the worst moment. Free delivery anywhere in Ireland once you spend 49 euro.
