The Flamingo Large Nail Clippers gives clean, controlled nail trims for larger breeds with thicker nails, part of a regular grooming routine to keep nails at a comfortable length that does not affect a pet's gait or catch on furniture and carpets.
Trim only the tip of the nail, avoiding the quick, the sensitive area with blood supply visible as a pink line on pale nails and harder to spot on dark nails, where trimming a small amount at a time is safer. If bleeding does happen, a clean cloth with gentle pressure usually stops it. Free delivery on all orders over 49 euro. Orders under 49 euro have a delivery charge of 6.95 euro. We deliver anywhere in the Republic of Ireland.
Overgrown nails genuinely affect how a pet walks and can catch painfully on things around the home. Regular trimming with the right sized clipper keeps nails at a comfortable length without the guesswork of an ill fitting tool.
Only the tip, avoiding the quick, the sensitive area visible as a pink line on pale nails, trim a small amount at a time on dark nails.
Apply gentle pressure with a clean cloth, styptic powder can help speed up stopping any bleeding.
