Properly priced. Same as in store.
The Flamingo Esmo is a rectangular dog bed measuring 100 by 80 by 25cm, with an inner sleeping area of 65 by 50cm. It is made in Europe from plush and textile with a memory foam and foam rubber cushion.
Two things make this worth the money over a cheap bed. Both the basket and the cushion have zipped covers that come off and wash at 30 degrees, which is the only way a dog bed stays usable past six months. The cushion is also properly built, 2.5cm of memory foam over 2cm of foam rubber, not a bag of fibre that flattens in a fortnight. Memory foam matters most for an older dog with stiff joints, because it keeps the elbows and hips off the floor.
Turn the cushion over in summer and the textile side is cooler than the plush. Free delivery anywhere in Ireland once you spend 49 euro.
