Worth knowing before you buy. Rawhide is in the recipe, and rawhide is not meat, it is the inner layer of hide cleaned and pressed into shape. It is what gives a treat like this its chew and its shelf life. Plenty of dogs eat it for years without trouble. Some swallow lumps of it, and that is the one to watch if your dog bolts things rather than chews them.
