Properly priced. Same as in store.
The Flamingo Fausto nail scissors are steel clippers with a moulded plastic handle, measuring 9 by 5.9 by 2cm. They suit dogs and cats.
The thing nobody tells you about clipping nails is where to stop. Inside every nail is the quick, which carries a blood vessel and a nerve, and cutting it hurts and bleeds. On a pale nail you can see it as a pink line and you stop a couple of millimetres short. On a black nail you cannot see it at all, so you take very small slices and watch the cut end. When a small grey or pink oval appears in the middle of the cut face, you have gone far enough and you stop there.
Keep a styptic pencil or a bit of cornflour in the drawer in case you catch the quick, and do one paw a day rather than fighting through all four. Free delivery anywhere in Ireland once you spend 49 euro.
The brand collection it belongs to may not be set up in the storefront yet, or it's a one-off line outside our 17 main brand collections. Vetted to the same standard as anything else we stock.
