Properly priced. Same as in store.
Flamingo Nail Scissors are a simple, precise tool for trimming a pet's nails at home, with a scissor action that gives more direct control than a guillotine style clipper, useful for a nervous pet or an owner still building confidence with nail trims. They suit small to medium sized nails and are a practical addition to a basic home grooming kit.
Trim only the tip of the nail, avoiding the quick, the sensitive area with blood supply visible as a pink line on pale nails and harder to spot on dark nails, where trimming a small amount at a time is safer. If bleeding does happen, a clean cloth with gentle pressure usually stops it, and styptic powder speeds this up if available. If a pet is very anxious about nail trims, working gradually with short, positive sessions or asking a vet or groomer for support is worth considering. Free delivery on all orders over 49 euro. Orders under 49 euro have a delivery charge of 6.95 euro. We deliver anywhere in the Republic of Ireland.
A guillotine style clipper can feel intimidating for both a nervous pet and a first time owner. These scissors give a more visible, controlled cut, making it easier to see exactly where the blade is before each trim.
Only the tip, avoiding the quick, the sensitive area visible as a pink line on pale nails, trim a small amount at a time on dark nails.
Apply gentle pressure with a clean cloth, styptic powder can help speed up stopping any bleeding.
Work gradually with short, positive sessions, or ask a vet or groomer for support if needed.
Orders over 49 euro qualify for free delivery anywhere in the Republic of Ireland. Orders under 49 euro have a flat delivery charge of 6.95 euro.
