Canagan Scottish Salmon is a grain free dry dog food for puppies and adults, in a 2kg bag. It carries 29% protein and 17% fat, built on freshly prepared Scottish salmon at 30.5%.
Four separate fish go into it, salmon, dried herring at 12.2%, freshly prepared trout at 6.6% and dried salmon at 5%, which is why omega 3 comes out at 2%. That is more than four times the 0.45% in the chicken version of the same range, and omega 3 is the fat that does the work for skin and coat. Sweet potato leads the carbohydrate ahead of peas and potato, with no cereal in the recipe.
