The Ancol Cat Harness and Lead Set is a soft mesh harness with a matching lead attached, built as a comfortable, secure alternative to walking a cat on a collar and lead alone. The breathable mesh has soft edging so it sits gently against the body rather than digging in, and the harness adjusts to get a snug, secure fit rather than one loose enough for a cat to back out of. Large fits an underneath length measurement of around 17cm, so it is worth measuring the cat before choosing size rather than going on age or breed alone, and the range can also suit some puppies or rabbits at the right size. This is built for supervised outdoor time in the garden or on a lead walk, giving far more control and security than a collar alone, which can slip over a cat's head if it pulls back.
Measure around the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs, to check the size before buying, a harness that is too loose is the main reason cats back out of them. Introduce the harness gradually indoors before the first outdoor use, let the cat wear it around the house for short periods so the first walk is not the first time it has ever worn it. This is a supervised use harness, not for leaving a cat unattended while wearing it. Free delivery on all orders over 49 euro. Orders under 49 euro have a delivery charge of 6.95 euro. A collar alone gives no real control outdoors and can slip off if a cat pulls back suddenly. This harness and lead set gives a secure, adjustable fit built specifically for a cat's body, so supervised outdoor time is safer for both the cat and the owner.
