Properly priced. Same as in store.
Heatherlea Budgie special 20kg is a varied blend of seeds formulated for a budgie's everyday diet, giving a range of seed types rather than a single grain to help meet its broad nutritional needs. This 20kg bulk size suits an aviary, breeder, or anyone keeping multiple budgies who wants to buy in bulk rather than restocking small bags regularly.
A seed only diet is not considered a fully balanced diet on its own by most avian vets, fresh vegetables, a small amount of fruit, and a good quality pellet food alongside seed gives a more rounded diet overall. Store in a cool, dry, airtight container once opened to keep seed fresh across a bulk sized bag. Free delivery on all orders over 49 euro. Orders under 49 euro have a delivery charge of 6.95 euro. We deliver anywhere in the Republic of Ireland.
A bird keeper with multiple birds gets through seed fast, and restocking small bags constantly is neither convenient nor cost effective. This bulk 20kg size gives a genuine everyday seed mix without the constant reordering.
Most avian vets recommend seed alongside fresh vegetables, some fruit and a good quality pellet food for a more balanced diet.
