Beaphar Lactol Feeding Syringes come as a pack of two 15ml syringes, giving precise, controlled feeding for a puppy or kitten too weak or young to feed from a bottle, or for topping up an animal that is not taking a full feed from a bottle alone. They work alongside Beaphar Lactol milk replacer as part of a hand rearing routine, giving fine control over how much and how fast milk is given.
Keep syringes clean and sterile before every use. Feed slowly and in small amounts, watching that the animal is swallowing properly rather than forcing milk in, since a weak or very young animal can inhale milk if fed too quickly. A bottle does not always suit a very weak or very young animal that cannot latch or suck properly. These syringes give the fine, controlled feeding that situation genuinely needs, going alongside a bottle rather than replacing it entirely.

Follow the storage guidance on the tin, which is the only figure we'll stand over. Keep it sealed, dry and cool, and make up feeds fresh each time rather than storing mixed milk.
