The head measures 9.5cm, sized for bigger breeds or larger areas of coat where a smaller tool would take far longer to cover the same ground. It suits any dog with a double coat or a heavy seasonal shed, giving a genuinely useful outlet for the volume of loose fur that builds up during a moult, rather than relying on a standard brush to keep pace.
Always work on a coat free of knots and mats first, and brush gently in the direction of fur growth rather than against it. Start sessions gently and increase pressure only once the dog is settled and comfortable, pausing or ending the session if the dog shows signs of stress or agitation.
