Somebody typed fetch your pet needs into Google and ended up here, so let us talk straight. Most shops will sell you whatever is on the shelf and send you out the door. That is not how it works at either counter and it is not how the website works either.

No two dogs need the same thing

A working dog on a farm outside Gorey has nothing in common with a nervous rescue living in a Wicklow apartment, yet plenty of places will hand both owners the same bag off the shelf and call it a day.

If a food or a lead or a harness is not right for your dog we will say so, even when that means walking you to a different product or telling you to hold off buying anything at all.

Our own food, and everyone else's

Stanley's Grain Free is ours, made through a low temperature process because we think that matters. It sits alongside every other brand we trust enough to put our name near, not instead of them.

Toys that survive an actual dog

Leads, harnesses and toys picked because they last, rather than because they photograph well or came with a deal attached.

Somebody who has done it

Seventeen years training dogs the force free way, and years of breeding and showing before that. Come into either shop and that is who you get.

What we will not sell

No shock collars. No electric fences. No live animals in a cage waiting on a sale. That is not a marketing line, it is the standard we hold ourselves to.

That is fine. The same shop and the same standards travel with you. Next day delivery by DPD anywhere in the Republic of Ireland, free on orders over €49 and €6.95 under that. Order before 2pm Monday to Friday and it goes out the same day.

Same food, same advice, same honesty about what your dog actually needs rather than what is easy to sell.

Where are you based?
Two shops in the south east, both trading as Pet Depot. Wicklow is at 5 Church Street, A67 W289, open since 2009. Enniscorthy is at Duffry Hill, Y21 X4E3, open since 2017. Both open Monday to Saturday, 9 to 6, closed Sunday.
Do you deliver, and how much is it?
Next day by DPD anywhere in the Republic of Ireland. Free on orders over €49, €6.95 under that. Order before 2pm Monday to Friday for same day dispatch. You can also collect free from either shop.
What is Stanley's Grain Free?
It is our own grain free dog food, made through a low temperature process. It sits on the shelf beside the other brands we stock rather than replacing them, and we will tell you when one of those suits your dog better.
Do you sell shock collars or electric fences?
No. We do not sell shock collars, electric containment or anti bark collars, in the shops or online. We also do not sell live animals.
Can you help me pick food for my dog?
Yes. Call into either shop, message us, or use the Find Food tool on the website. If the honest answer is that nothing we stock suits your dog, we will say that too.
