Burgess Excel Rabbit Adult Oregano 1.5kg is a high fibre nugget food for adult rabbits, flavoured with oregano to keep even fussy rabbits interested, part of Burgess's muesli free Excel range formulated with vets and nutritionists. Every nugget carries the same balanced nutrition, removing the selective feeding problem that comes with muesli style mixes, where a rabbit eats the tasty high sugar pieces and leaves the fibrous, genuinely important parts behind.
Good quality hay or fresh grass should make up the majority of a rabbit's diet and be available at all times, with a small daily portion of nuggets alongside it plus a small handful of leafy greens. Selective feeding on a muesli style mix increases the risk of dental disease, obesity and gut stasis, which is exactly why a nugget based diet like this matters. Free delivery on all orders over 49 euro. Orders under 49 euro have a delivery charge of 6.95 euro. We deliver anywhere in the Republic of Ireland.
A muesli style mix looks appealing but lets a rabbit pick out the tasty bits and leave the fibrous, genuinely important parts behind. These nuggets remove that risk entirely, since every mouthful delivers the same balanced nutrition.
