Aqua Dreams Fish Tank Tonic Salts are a general aquarium salt used in freshwater tanks to support fish health, aid the natural slime coat that protects fish skin, and help fish recover from the stress of transport, handling or minor injury. They are commonly used as a general tonic during water changes or when introducing new fish, rather than as a treatment for a specific diagnosed illness.
Not all fish and plants tolerate added salt well, some species and most live plants are sensitive to it, so it is worth checking what is actually being kept before dosing a whole tank. Follow the dosing instructions on the packaging for the tank's actual water volume. Free delivery on all orders over 49 euro. Orders under 49 euro have a delivery charge of 6.95 euro. We deliver anywhere in the Republic of Ireland.
New fish and stressful tank changes both put a strain on a fish's natural protective slime coat. This tonic salt supports that recovery directly, making it a useful general addition to a water change routine rather than a reactive fix.
