The Ancol USB Safety Halo Band is a soft, flexible lit tube that clips around a dog's collar, keeping the dog visible to drivers and other walkers up to 500 metres away in open, dark conditions. It suits a dog that walks off lead in low light, dawn, dusk or winter evenings, giving a genuine safety margin beyond what a reflective collar alone provides, since it actively lights up rather than only reflecting light shone directly at it. It is USB rechargeable and water resistant, and the soft tubing can be trimmed to fit a range of collar sizes.
This is a battery powered safety aid, not a permanent fixture, it needs charging via USB before use and periodically thereafter depending on how often it is used. Check the securing clip is properly engaged before letting the dog off lead in the dark, and check the tubing periodically for wear. Free delivery on all orders over 49 euro. Orders under 49 euro have a delivery charge of 6.95 euro. We deliver anywhere in the Republic of Ireland.
A dark field at 6pm in winter is exactly when a dog off lead becomes hardest to see, for the owner and for anyone else nearby. This halo band actively lights up rather than just reflecting, giving genuine visibility at real distance rather than only when a light happens to catch it.
Up to around 500 metres in open, dark conditions.
